BJJ Tournament
 Liberty Events and Promotions hosted The Revolution, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Wrestling tournament in Seattle, WA. We had several competitors at this tournament and we are very happy to say that we took home the Team No-Gi Trophy. Congratulations to everyone who came out and competed, and thank you to Leap LLC for hosting another great tournament.

MMA Title Fight
On Saturday night at Tumwater High School, Joel "Mongoose" Petit took home the local MMA 170lb championship belt. He submitted his oponent Coby Parmenter in the 3rd round via RNC. A great show was put on by both athletes.

Marcelo Garcia Seminar
World Champion grappler Marcelo Garcia (3x ADCC champion, and multiple BJJ World Championships) will be coming to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu of Olympia on Sept. 20th, and 21st to host a 2 day seminar.
Academy Expansion
We are expanding our mat space from 1500 square ft to 3500 square ft of usable mat space. This will accommodate our kickboxing and new CrossFit program. We are adding 2 showers and 4 new bathrooms. Our new space will have Dollamur mats from wall to wall. The expansion is close to being finished. 07/27/08
